Dr. Albert Kang was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa majoring in chemical and biochemical engineering. During this time, he met his wife Jin. He then attended The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and earned his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Kang completed his internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Emory University Hospital and four-year residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The exceptional surgical training provided Dr.Kang with extensive knowledge and skill in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, pediatric and adult anesthesia, management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, bone grafting, and diagnosis and treatment of pathology. Dr. Kang is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association, as well as certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with his wife, Jin, their twin daughters, Audrey and Nora. He also enjoys spending his free time swimming, playing soccer and basketball.
