Meet Dr. Albert Kang, DDS

Billerica, Westford & Worcester Oral Surgeon

Dr. Albert Kang was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa, majoring in chemical and biochemical engineering. During this time, he met his wife, Jin. He then attended The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and earned his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Kang completed his internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Emory University Hospital and four-year residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The exceptional surgical training provided Dr. Kang with extensive knowledge and skill in facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, pediatric and adult anesthesia, management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, bone grafting, and diagnosis and treatment of pathology.

Dr. Kang is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons(ABOMS), Massachusetts Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (MSOMS) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Professional Certifications

Dr. Albert Kang is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). Dr. Kang is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Outside the Office

Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with his wife, Jin, their twin daughters, Audrey and Nora. He also enjoys spending his free time golfing, swimming, playing soccer and basketball.
